Kitchen & Bathroom
It is so crazy that just a couple of weeks ago we were lining up tiles on the floor at Lowe's deciding which ones to put in our home. Originally, we wanted to do classic white subway tile in the kitchen and bathroom, but I am so glad we went with the big squares instead. They were way cheaper than the subway tiles and it just seemed like they were going to fit better in our small areas than the longer subway tiles. There were definitely some awkward spaces where it was like putting puzzle pieces together to get this tiling to work, but hey, thats pretty much everything in a motorhome. There aren't any photos of the grout process because... it was just a disaster. I hope I never have to deal with grout ever again in my life. This day in age there should be a better system for filling in those spaces, right?! Ugh. It was a nightmare, but it looks great now.
Our kitchen countertop is from IKEA - it's the KARLBY countertop in walnut. So, IKEA is like trying to save the world's trees by using less wood in their products; you can read about it here.
